About Dr. Weinberg
Dr. Weinberg earned an honors Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Medical Biophysics and went on to obtain his medical degree and complete his Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Toronto in 1996. He has been granted numerous prestigious awards and Scholarships. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery, the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Ontario Society of Plastic Surgery, and is former President of that Society. Internationally published, he is also fluent in English, French and Dutch. His opinions are routinely solicited by the media, and he has been interviewed and quoted in the Globe and Mail, and the Star, with appearances on CBC, Global Television, and CTV. Most of Dr. Weinberg's patients opt to have their breast surgery in his surgical clinic, enjoying the privacy, personal attention and charming atmosphere that only a private facility can provide. At the same time they know their surgery and post op care will be carried out in the safest of circumstances, with state of the art equipment and with the help of highly trained, Board Certified anaesthetists and registered nurses who are also on staff at Trillium Health Centre. Because Dr. Weinberg is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Trillium, patients have the flexibility of choosing to have their surgery in hospital if they prefer.

Dr. Weinberg is a renowned Royal College certified Plastic Surgeon. He is the founder of the Mississauga Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Clinic, a prestigious, CAAASF accredited private surgical facility, and performs all the surgery at the clinic without assistance from students or residents. He also sees breast surgical consultations at the Toronto Plastic Surgery Clinic, his clinic in downtown Toronto, conveniently located steps from Yorkville. Dr. Weinberg is also Chief of Plastic Surgery at Trillium Health Centre (formerly called the Mississauga Hospital) one of the largest hospitals in Ontario, since 2005.
