Breast Lift is an excellent procedure to restore the location of the breast high on the chest wall in women in whom the breasts have descended. It is sometimes done in addition to or in combination with breast augmentation. Often, after having breast fed , breasts can become pendulous, and the nipple descends.  A breast lift  is designed to reshape and raise sagging breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning the nipples and breast tissue.  A Breast lift is an easy  procedure which, because of the necessary location of incisions, always results in some scarring. That is why anyone considering this surgery should seek out an experienced and qualified plastic surgeon such as Dr. Weinberg. While an older breast lift technique required both incisions form the nipple down, as well as scars under the breast, Dr. Weinberg can often successfully achieve excellent breast lift results with only one incision, from the nipple, thereby minimizing scarring.

The term Mommy Makeover was coined by American Plastic Surgeons,  to describe combination surgical procedures aimed at addressing the specific concerns of women who have had children.Typically these procedures involve breast aumentation, possibly a breast lift, Tummy Tuck, and possibly liposuction. In pregnancy the uterus expands and pushes against the Rectus Abdominus. This is the vertical group of muscles commonly referred to as the "six pack". These are stretched apart allowing the uterus to push forward against the abdominal wall. Post partum the other abdominal organs push or spill into this space. Crunches will not restore the abdomen's muscle tone. Weight gain during pregnancy, and engorgement with breast milk after cause the skin of the breasts to be stretched, resulting in persistent laxity after weight is lost. Repeated pregnancies and breast feeding can result in loss of breast volume in some women. Chest exercises or push ups will not improve this.
